Talking Tudor: Bruce shares his home with Lake Society Magazine
“I love 18th-century style, but I wouldn’t be comfortable in a chateau because it’s too formal for me,” says Bruce. “I like living in a Tudor home because the casual, asymmetrical layout invites you to discover each room as you walk through the house...I like having different rooms for how I feel. When I’m in a quiet mood, I enjoy sketching, reading and watching TV in the sunroom, but if my daughter, her husband and my seven grandkids are coming over for dinner, I open the French doors and add another leaf to the dining table. It’s crowded, but we love being close together, so it’s always a party.”
